Since discovering pastry and cooking, Lena has felt a deep connection to the kitchen. During her adolescence, she spent hours experimenting with flavors, dreaming of becoming a chef. What began as a hobby grew into a passion, driving her to pursue a culinary career. Now, Lena is taking her first steps towards this dream with a Commercial Cookery Course at TAFE Queensland.

Lena's Story
Lena was born in the vibrant city of Beijing, China, where she spent her early years surrounded by a rich cultural heritage and a bustling urban landscape. As the only child in her family, she was encouraged to explore her passions, which led her to study art and design at university in China.
After completing her degree in China, Lena decided to broaden her horizons by pursuing a master’s degree in France. It was during her time in France that her life took an unexpected but delightful turn. Immersed in the beauty of French culture, she found herself captivated by the world of cuisine and food. The art of pastry, in particular, drew Lena in with its intricate techniques and endless possibilities for creativity. Her love for food grew stronger, and Lena decided to formally study pastry in France.
Now, Lena lives on the Gold Coast, where she continues to explore and merge her love for cooking with a Commercial Cookery course at TAFE Queensland. Her journey has been one of self-discovery, driven by a passion for creativity in all its forms. From Beijing to the Gold Coast, her experiences have shaped who she is today—a creative soul with a deep love for both visual and culinary arts.
