Certificate III & IV of Accounting & Bookkeeping

This qualification will provide you with skills that include financial data entry, processing accounts and payrolls, providing customer service in financial transactions, and producing financial reports

Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking

This course is for students who wish to work in banking and provide advice on financial products. As a graduate, you will emerge with knowledge of banking services, financial systems, regulatory and compliance requirements as well as valuable customer service and professional workplace skills to succeed in the financial services industry.

Diploma of Accounting

At the completion of this qualification, you will have the ability to apply accounting solutions to a range of complex problems as well as the ability to apply initiative to plan, coordinate and evaluate own work and guidance to others within defined guidelines in financial services and other industries

Diploma of Finance & Mortgage Management

This qualification is to prepare you for a career in finance broking (including mortgage broking). You will learn to apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems, and to analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources.

Steps towards an Australian Skilled Visa

As the occupation of Accountant is currently on the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List  (MLTSSL), once qualified and with the necessary professional experience, it may be possible obtain a skilled or employer-sponsored visa that will allow you to continue to live and work in Australia once you have completed your Australian studies.

Complete your Bachelor of Accounting

To gain a positive skills assessment,  will need to study an accounting or finance degree,  that will provide you with at least a Bachelor level qualification. Your Study Gurus Counselor will help you enrol in a course that will meet the duration and qualification levels to become eligible to apply for a graduate visa.

Apply for your 485 Graduate Visa - Post Study Work

After you have completed your degree, you may be eligible to apply for and receive the Temporary Graduate Visa. You will need to demonstrate your English proficiency. The graduate visa will allow you to live and work in Australia for up to 2 years so you can gain professional experience. Apply for a formal Skills Assessment

Once you have obtained the necessary post qualification work experience you will need to apply for your full skills assessment certificate.  This is required before you can obtain an employer-sponsored visa.

Apply for a Skilled or Employer-Sponsored Visa

Upon receipt of your positive skills assessment, you may be eligible to apply for a General Skilled Migration Visa or for the employer sponsorship. Common visas available to an Accountant include:
